Classification by conditions of use:

▪️M+S (MUD and SNOW) – tires for mud and snow, used for severe operating conditions. This designation can be on both winter and all-season tires.

▪️The image of a snowflake inside a mountain – a tire for harsh winter conditions.

▪️A/S (ALL SEASON) - all-season tires.

▪️AGT (ALL GRIP TRACTION) - also a designation for all-season tires

▪️AQUA, RAIN, WATER - these and other designations that symbolize water, rain or an umbrella are used for "rain" tires.

Classification by load characteristics:

▪️MAX LOAD — maximum load level, kg.
▪️MAX PRESSURE — maximum allowable pressure level for 1 tire, kPa.
▪️XL (EXTRA LOAD) – the tire has a reinforced design and a higher load level.

▪️RF(REINFORCED) – a tire with an increased load level, used mostly for light trucks.

Classification by tire direction:

▪️ROTATION – the correct direction of the rubber when installed.
▪️INSIDE/OUTSIDE – indications of the inner and outer sides of the tire, for correct installation on the car.

Classification by the presence of rim protection:

▪️FB(FLAT BASE) – means that the tire does not have rim protection.
▪️FR(FLAT PROTECTION) – the tire has rim protection.
▪️MFS (MAX FLANGE SHIELD) – the tire has a maximum rim protection system.
▪️ML – marking of tires with rim protection from Continental, approved for Mercedes and Audi.

And other possible classifications:

▪️STEEL RADIAL – a radial tire with a metal cord.
▪️E – a symbol of tire compliance with European ECE (Economic Commission for Europe) requirements.
TWI — TREADWEAR INDICATOR, tire wear indicator.
